New, larger Kanzius device ready for use
Therm Med, the company formed by the late Millcreek Township inventor John Kanzius, is ready to ship a new, larger external radio-frequency generator to medical researchers.
The device will allow researchers to test Kanzius’ cancer-killing invention on larger animals and eventually people, if the Food & Drug Administration approves it for human use.
Kanzius’ device works by emitting radio waves that heat and kill cancer cells targeted with nanoparticles, microscopic pieces of gold and other metals that are injected into the bloodstream.
